Social Entrepreneur Advisor

Archimedes Project is a startup studio that works with entrepreneurs to develop social enterprises that prevent waterborne disease among developing world families by increasing access to clean water and sanitation. We do this by working with entrepreneurs to leverage existing technology, experience and ideas.

Aspiring entrepreneurs start their work with the Archimedes Project by spending 12 weeks working in their chosen country as a Frontier Social Entrepreneur Fellow. To design a social enterprise that can sustainably address the clean water and sanitation needs of low-income households, it is essential to understand the problem they want to solve and the ecosystem they operate within. Fellows work with Archimedes Project staff to direct their research, build relationships, and communicate their findings and experience.

Social Entrepreneur Advisors are volunteers who share their expertise, personal experience, and insights to help the Fellows deepen their research, connect with the right people, and problem solve in challenging situations. From June through August, advisors act as a resource and sounding-board for Fellows while they are in-country and may then play an important role in the future development of an enterprise.
